Sweet Tweets
What are you doing? – As Twitter’s popularity grows, more and more American celebrities are tweeting away their personal lives and becoming almost too intimate with fans.
The rich and famous just got a lot more user-friendly, flocking to the microblogging social networking interface Twitter. Which aims to answer the simple question of What are you doing? in less than 140 characters.
Celebs like Vanessa Hudgens (VanessaHudgens), Spencer Pratt (spencerpratt), Nicole Richie (nicolerichie) , and Michael Phelps (Michael_Phelps) are tweeting at home, parties, events, backstage, dinner, in line, when they’re suppose to be working [think John Mayer (johncmayer)], in the bathroom, and even in the bedroom [also, think John Mayer]. Their tweets are funny, corny, boring, provoking, witty, and sometimes downright stupid. The best part is [and the worst] is most are not publicist censored – a fact gossip mogul Perez Hilton does the happy dance for. Note: Follow Perez Hilton (perezhilton) + follow who he is following = amazing celeb tweets.
Thanks to Twitter fans can literally converse with their idols. This is making stars seem almost too human for our liking. Even celebs are getting in the game – following other celebs, their idols, mentors, and coworkers; providing playful banter and plenty of tabloid rumor fuel.
It may seem like every star is on Twitter, but some stars are cagier than others. They prefer to keep their private lives private. Shame, as fans would really like to hear the sweet tweets from celebs like Angelina Jolie, Heather Chase, Simon Cowell [who vocally opposes Twitter], and the mighty Jonas Brothers. ~

Have You Assumed the Fetal Position Yet?
The casting of “New Moon” has begun, along with several casting rumors. Who will be playing Jacob Black? Who will the Volturi vampires be? Which actress will play Leah Clearwater? What about Emily?!
Breathe a sigh of relief, Taylor Lautner has signed back on as Jacob Black. Now the latest casting howl is who will be playing the lone, feisty female member of the Quilette pack, Leah Clearwater. Word on the street is Vanessa Hudgens and Brenda Song are the it-girls for the role of Leah Clearwater. At the possibility of this “Twilight” fans have assumed the fetal position in terror or gnashed their teeth, pointing out they are better werewolves then Disney starlets. But someone else hints at her role in “New Moon”, Heather Grey Chase.
The 5’10″ model of Spanish origin is auditioning for “New Moon.” Chase would be perfect as Leah Clearwater; she’s super tall, tan, and single-minded. Plus she has experience as one of the supernatural! But Chase might be auditioning for a vampire role, one of the Volturi possibly. Chase makes a downright scary vampire, and her boyfriend could come along too. Pretty please Heather, pretty please convince Bill to audition as one of the Volturi vamps!
