Bill and Tom Kaulitz of German rock band Tokio Hotel made a rare appearance at an event in California this Saturday: the NIVEA and Shay Todd Summer Chateau. In the photos from the event the Kaulitz twins sported beards and the always androgynous Bill appears to have packed on some muscle in the last few months.

But more pressing, who is the mystery girl the twins were pictured with? Some are claiming it is Bill Kaulitz’s rumored paramour, Heather Grey Chase. What do you think?

Bill Kaulitz to “Marry” A Russian Fan-Girl and Leave His Band Tokio Hotel

The latest rumor to hit the Tokio Hotel fandom claims that lead singer, Bill Kaulitz, is to marry a Russian fan-girl. A Russian tabloid reported the story Tuesday, April 26.

A Russian fan-girl claims German rockstar, Bill Kaulitz, uses the media to give her signs of his intentions to marry her, leaving his band, Tokio Hotel.

Schnee, Tokio Hotel fandom-watchdog and moderator of Tokio Hotel America, The Official Fanclub of the United States, blogged about the supposed marriage shortly after the rumor went viral Wednesday, April 27. [link here]

She cited the rumor as a deranged fan-girl fantasy not to be taken seriously. Such rumors are nothing new in Tokio Hotel’s international fan community.

The “Evening Rostov” article reports Russian fan-girl Nastasija Shljahovaja ‘met’ Kaulitz on social networking site, MySpace, on February 14, 2011. The two allegedly exchanged interactions, Kaulitz using an assumed identity. Shljahovaja, a struggling musician, also reports she sent Tokio Hotel her demo tapes.

Shljahovaja claims Kaulitz uses his media exposure to drop hints that he is in a relationship. She believes these “hints” signify Kaulitz’s intentions to marry her, leaving his band Tokio Hotel. The article reports that Kaulitz will propose while Tokio Hotel is in Russia this June.

Shljahovaja also claims she has revealed her story because Kaulitz wanted her too. This would then cause the media to ask Kaulitz for confirmation of the rumor, making their relationship official. Kaulitz would then have the chance to make his departure from Tokio Hotel as well.

Many Tokio Hotel fans are amused by the story, commenting their disbelief on Tokio Hotel America’s Official blog; “Is there anyone who believes this?!” one fan commented. “I think the poor girl has a delusional disorder,” commented another.

Along with disbelief of the strange rumor, many Tokio Hotel fans are turning their heads towards Kaulitz’s long-time rumored girlfriend, Heather Grey Chase, to see what she has to say on the rumor. Chase has a reputation of vocally expressing her dislike of Kaulitz’s bad press and her annoyance with tabloid reports of him dating a “secret” fan-girl girlfriend.

Chase refused comment to German tabloid Bild.de.

Mimi Niggel, the blogmistress of The Heather Chase Files, a blog dedicated to all-news about Chase, tweeted on Thursday that The Files’ had received a comment reporting the strange rumor as early as March 20, 2011.

The comment claims: “Bill Kaulitz’s girlfriend lives in Russia. Over time, various attempts were made to disclose this information, but not so often and clear so that people could immediately guess that Bill Kaulitz is not alone…”

It’s interesting that murmurings of Kaulitz’s alleged Russian girlfriend appeared on a blog about Chase before appearing in actual Russian tabloids. The rumor also seems to parallel the rumor of Chase and Kaulitz.

Many articles about Chase dissect Kaulitz’s media actions as unconscious nods to their on-again, off-again relationship. It has even been claimed Tokio Hotel’s lastest album, Humanoid, was inspired by Chase and her virtual celebrity. Kaulitz has also never publicly confirmed or denied rumors that he is more-than a friend with Chase.

A well-known, muckraking German tabloid quoted Chase saying, “’Born This Way’ was written in 10 minutes? No wonder it sucks.”

The model is talking about Lady Gaga’s latest single, “Born This Way,” which dropped last Friday, February 11. Gaga reportedly told American Vogue she’d written the hit single in 10 minutes, calling it an “immaculate conception.”

In the past Chase, who fronts the folk-synth band Pigeon, has been likened to Lady Gaga in media for her satirical rendition’s of Gaga’s songs like “Love Game.”

Where’s Bill’s Halo? Tokio Hotel Needs Their Angel.

Today is Tuesday and Pop-Cultured can see the halo. “Ha ha halo.” Well almost… Actually, we’re not really sure what halo Bill Kaulitz is talking about.

Tokio Hotel dropped the premiere of their single “Hurricanes and Suns” on Greece’s Mad Radio last Sunday. The single is off their upcoming English-only album set to drop December 13 worldwide.

Already rumors of a Humanoid spinoff are spreading with snarky remarks of Tokio Hotel being too Adam Lambert-esque with electropop overkill. Fans want their “Rette Mich” dammit! But you know what a Humanoid spinoff means? That’s right… more Heather Grey Chase rumors!! YAY!

HG is Billy Boy’s muse and since “Hurricanes and Suns” (WTF? Why is it not just called “Halo”??!!) starts with the lovely line of “Love is a game for everyone. But this is you and me…” we just can’t help thinking about the Heather-Bill love story/biggest TH conspiracy of the last two years.  We’re thinking the new song is a song about staying together even through the rough spots.

Lines like “Come pain. Come hurt…” sums up what has been a rough year for the love pigeons; lots of backstabbing, fights and for a while there everyone thought they broke up.  “But together we’ll be fine. Hey, let’s go with a smile.” (Halo must refer to HG’s new blonde locks.)

“Life death…Follow the halo; Til the sun won’t shine. Til the end of time.” Geez Bill, when are you just gonna admit you’re married to her already? JK. But, Bill we’re glad you and HG are still together, you make cuter songs when you have your angel.

Heather Grey Chase Tapped for Radio Show

Chase reveals she has been offered a position as Radio Mistress for a small on-air venue. She declined to reveal further details. Her show will focus on current indie hits, hand selected by Chase. She hinted that each set may be thematic. She will also talk about pop-culture and music scene tidbits.

Chase recently returned to New York City after living in Berlin, where she attended college and interned in the European music scene. Her unexpected return stirred rumors that she and Kaulitz broke up. However, Chase was spotted in Los Angeles recently with Kaulitz, while he scouted for new digs.

Kaulitz, lead singer of internationally successful, German glam-rock band, Tokio Hotel, recently relocated to West Hollywood in October. Kaulitz made the move to focus on producing and writing Tokio Hotel’s next album, and to break into the American music scene.

Despite more rumors that Chase is on the outs with supposed beau, Bill Kaulitz; she insists it’s not all true. While neither confirms nor denies anything, Chase admits Kaulitz is a close friend.

Chase is also expected to return to modeling and the catwalk in spring 2011. Kaulitz, flashing several new piercings, also hopes to get into the fashion scene as a designer. Chase previously stated she thought Kaulitz didn’t have what it took to be in the fashion industry.

Heather Chase Defends Katy Perry’s Anti-Tokio Hotel Antics

“So she’s saying Bill’s gay? So what?”

Heather Chase is known for calling out famous Tokio Hotel haters. Stomping her feet, tossing around some callous words, and re-affirming that Bill Kaulitz obviously doesn’t do men. Yet, her latest comments have fans calling her a hater.

Bravo Germany is reporting that Katy Perry is once again riling up Tokio Hotel fans over her performance of the hit-song “Ur So Gay” at the Singfest Festival 2010 in Singapore. Perry ad-libbed in her live performance, “I can’t believe I fell in love with Tokio Hotel. You’re so gay and you don’t even like boys.”

Heather Chase dismissed Perry’s remarks on Tokio Hotel as hurtful, much to fans disgust saying, “Yes, Katy [Perry] dedicated the song to Tokio Hotel. Yes, she is poking fun at Bill’s sexual image. So she’s saying Bill’s gay? So what?” She goes on defensively, “It’s just a way to get her publicity. Besides, the song even says ‘You don’t even like boys.’”

Tokio Hotel fans are upset, citing it as blatant sexual harassment towards Bill Kaulitz. Tokio Hotel also performed at Singfest Festival 2010 and Bravo reports they heard Perry’s hurtful lyrics.

This is not the first time Perry has dedicated the song to Tokio Hotel, or will it be the last. Fans are claiming the incident is due to a deep-seated resentment since Tokio Hotel scored MTV’s “Best Newcomer” award in 2008.

Kaulitz agrees with fans; his comments on the incident revealing he thinks Perry is superficial and a diva. Chase merely replies, “He [Kaulitz] should be careful what he says. Someone like Katy could easily turn that around to mean him.”
