Is Tokio Hotel over?
I came across this surprising post on the Tokio Hotel America fansite, and being as a lot of Tokio Hotel fans turn to this blog as an extended fansite of Tokio Hotel I thought I would take the time to share it with you:
Something big is shaking down, but we have no idea what it is.
Apparently, the BTK App Developers are going to aggressively go after anyone who shares the content of the app, up to and including have websites shut down.
Including apparently, Tokio Hotel fansites. We have not been contacted about anything and since I do not have the app, the BTK Developers are not communicating with me, so *shrug*
What does this mean?
Does it mean that Tokio Hotel is over?
Does it mean that Tokio Hotel sites should follow the lead of Tokio Hotel Australia and just go dark until such time as THE BAND decides to come back? After all, BTK is very clearly branded to not include Tokio Hotel, but only Bill and Tom Kaulitz.
We will see how things develop.
How do you feel about being told that if you cannot afford a Smartphone or other device that you cannot have access to BTK news?
I wonder how that would work with music. If you cannot afford the CD, you cannot even LISTEN to it until everyone who has paid for it has listened to it first? Would that shut down radio?

In these times of SOPA, it seems the BTK management is not a fan of creative commons either.

I’ve been waiting for someone to catch this. It’s funny how B and T have been in the U.S. for over a year now…without the other band members, no news about the other band members or word of contact with them and no one seems to notice. The other guys have all but disappeared. The word is Bill and Tom are working on a new album; but no proof of it and if so without the other band members…? Sounds like TH ended a year ago. The last time they were together was in Russia for a per-arranged press thing and if you were paying attention Bill and Tom arrived from one direction and the others from another; and they left the same way. I think the band is over and I’m not so sure Bill and Tom are going to continue in music as before if they do at all.
